Cincon Chassis & Railway Converters EC7BW18-ECRT In Stock

Cincon EC7BW18-72S12-ECRT railway DC-DC module, 20 W, 18:1 10-160 V input and a regulated 12 V output with 3000 VAC isolation in a chassis mount.

The EC7BW18-72S12-ECRT is a Cincon railway DC-DC converter module rated at 20 W with an ultra-wide 18:1 input range of about 10 V to 160 V DC and a single regulated 12 V output, in an enclosed chassis-mount ECRT package of about 4.45 by 2.33 by 0.85 inch. It is the higher-power member of the railway turnkey family, and it meets the EN50155, the EN50121-3-2 and the EN45545-2 standards with a 3000 VAC isolation, a low inrush current, an input reverse-polarity protection and a full protection, and it meets the EN50155 Class S3 and Class C2 without an external capacitor. The 20 W 12 V output suits a larger rail load, and the baseplate cooling and the enclosed chassis format conduct the heat to the mounting surface for a good thermal path in a cabinet or a rack. The family offers a range of output voltages, including single and dual, so a designer can power several rails from the same source. Typical applications include a railway and a tram system, a signaling and a transportation design and a harsh industrial installation. Every module BeiLuo ships is factory-traceable and includes an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file. Our FAE team helps you choose the module and plan the mounting and the input protection.

FAE Professional Review

The EC7BW18-72S12-ECRT is the 20 W railway module with the same 18:1 input range and the EN50155, EN50121-3-2 and EN45545-2 compliance as the 10 W part, so it suits a larger rail load or a secondary rail. The baseplate and the enclosed chassis give a good thermal path. Plan the mounting and the thermal path and confirm the output voltage and the class for the project.

Frequently Asked Questions

What projects suit the EC7BW18-72S12-ECRT?

It suits a railway or a transportation design that needs an isolated 12 V rail at 20 W from a widely varying 10-160 V DC source, with the EN50155, EN50121-3-2 and EN45545-2 compliance and an enclosed chassis mount.
